HSTC’S Pets of the month program will highlight different dogs, cats, and critters each month in an effort to reach their perfect adopter! Some animals take longer than others to find their forever homes and we’re here to help speed up the process. Our goal is for every animal to find a home, and thanks to HSTC’s Pets of the Month program we are offering numerous benefits to encourage adopters to adopt a pet of the month!
Moo Shu is a one-year-old, energetic dog that absolutely loves being
around people - the more attention, the better! He gets along great with other dogs and loves to engage in playful activities that keep him busy. Treats are the way to his heart, and he'll do
just about anything for a tasty snack. While he enjoys going on walks, his true passion is running free in a big yard.
Mittens is a two-year-old cat who arrived at the Humane Society of the Treasure Coast as a
stray. She gets along purr-fectly with other feline friends and loves playing with her favorite mouse toy. Mittens is a calm kitty that enjoys snuggling up and snoozing the day away.
'Freddy Freeman' and 'Tommy Edman' are two adorable and well-socialized guinea pigs who arrived at our shelter due to an unfortunate hoarding situation. Despite their rough start in life, this bonded pair thrive on interaction and love to challenge themselves with obstacles, puzzles, and treats. Freddy and Tommy are looking for a forever home where they can continue to grow and play together with a loving family.
Each month, the HSTC will chose one dog, one cat, and one critter to feature. Should you choose to adopt one of these animals during their featured month, you and your new furry friend will receive the following adoption benefits:
