Pets of the Month

Adoption Program

HSTC’S Pets of the month program will highlight different dogs, cats, and critters each month in an effort to reach their perfect adopter! Some animals take longer than others to find their forever homes and we’re here to help speed up the process. Our goal is for every animal to find a home, and thanks to HSTC’s Pets of the Month program we are offering numerous benefits to encourage adopters to adopt a pet of the month!

Meet our Pets of the Month!

Nipsy

Nipsy1.jpgNipsy is a 108-pound gentle giant! This 6-year-old boy loves to play, keeps his kennel nice and tidy, and already knows his basic commands. He’s well-mannered, playful, and ready to be someone’s loyal companion. If you’re looking for a loving, well-behaved big buddy to complete your home, Nipsy’s your guy! For more information on Nispy please call 772-223-8822, or stop by our shelter at 4100 SW Leighton Farm Ave, Palm City to meet him. 

Huckleberry

Huckleberry.jpgHuckleberry is a sweet and fluffy boy who’s ready to steal your heart! This playful cuddle bug loves to snuggle up and show off his fun, energetic side. Huckleberry is also quite the chatterbox, letting you know just how much he enjoys your company. Ester

thumbnail_Ester_1.jpgEster is a gentle, 3 year old rabbit who loves munching on her fresh greens! She’s easy to handle and enjoys calm attention from her humans. She arrived at our shelter in rough condition, but has since flourished into a healthy, happy rabbit. If Ester sounds like the right rabbit for you, please call 772-223-8822 for more information and to set up a meet and greet.

 

Each month, the HSTC will chose one dog, one cat, and one critter to feature.  Should you choose to adopt one of these animals during their featured month, you and your new furry friend will receive the following adoption benefits:  

  • Fee-Waived Adoption
  • Sterilization and Vaccinations
  • Microchip and Registration
  • Flea & Heartworm Preventative
  • Opportunity to participate in discounted obedience classes through HSTC’s Pawstive Manners Club (applies to dog adoptions only)
