HSTC’S Pets of the month program will highlight different dogs, cats, and critters each month in an effort to reach their perfect adopter! Some animals take longer than others to find their forever homes and we’re here to help speed up the process. Our goal is for every animal to find a home, and thanks to HSTC’s Pets of the Month program we are offering numerous benefits to encourage adopters to adopt a pet of the month!

Dolly is a gentle 5-year-old female pup who has captured the hearts of everyone at the shelter since her arrival in April. She has such a sweet disposition and gets along with other dogs that match her energy level. Dolly will play tug of war with her favorite rope toys but then roll over and relax in the sun when she’s had enough play time. She’s be a perfect fit for a calm and loving family. Cally is a 4-year-old female cat who was transferred to the HSTC from another shelter that was out of space. She is a shy girl and absolutely adores to be pet. She will even reach her paw out to let you know when she wants more snuggles! Cally would prefer a quiet home with an owner who can give her time to adjust to her new surroundings.
Feather is an extra large, 4-year old-rabbit who is ready to find a loving home. She is extremely affectionate and will even fall asleep in your arms while being held! This 8-pound bun loves to snack and will take treats right out of your hand. Feather is a wonderful rabbit that would make an excellent addition to any household.
Each month, the HSTC will chose one dog, one cat, and one critter to feature. Should you choose to adopt one of these animals during their featured month, you and your new furry friend will receive the following adoption benefits:
