HSTC’S Pets of the month program will highlight different dogs, cats, and critters each month in an effort to reach their perfect adopter! Some animals take longer than others to find their forever homes and we’re here to help speed up the process. Our goal is for every animal to find a home, and thanks to HSTC’s Pets of the Month program we are offering numerous benefits to encourage adopters to adopt a pet of the month!
Amelia is a lively and energetic 8-month-old female puppy weighing only 35lbs. She was
transferred to the Humane Society of the Treasure Coast in February from another shelter that was out of space. This sweet girl appears to be dog-friendly and would thrive in an active family
environment. Amelia has a medical condition with her eyes and will need follow-up care after she is fully grown. Our medical staff will be more than happy to go over all the details with any
potential adopter.
Ember is a sweet two-year old cat with a playful spirit and a heart full of love. She’s
obsessed with toys that crinkle and can spend hours entertaining herself with them. Her stunning black and brown fur almost looks red in the sunlight, making her even more unique and
beautiful. Ember is great around kids and love their energy. She is the perfect addition for anyone looking for a playful and loving companion!
Deri arrived at the Humane Society of the Treasure Coast as a stray and quickly stole our hearts with
her affectionate nature. This petite bunny, weighing only 4lbs, loves munching on greens and engaging in mentally stimulating enrichment activities.
Each month, the HSTC will chose one dog, one cat, and one critter to feature. Should you choose to adopt one of these animals during their featured month, you and your new furry friend will receive the following adoption benefits:
