HSTC’S Pets of the month program will highlight different dogs, cats, and critters each month in an effort to reach their perfect adopter! Some animals take longer than others to find their forever homes and we’re here to help speed up the process. Our goal is for every animal to find a home, and thanks to HSTC’s Pets of the Month program we are offering numerous benefits to encourage adopters to adopt a pet of the month!
Indy is a super shy, one year old dog who is looking for a patient and loving owner. She seems to get along well with other dogs and enjoys the company of kids. Indy walks well on a leash, takes treats gently, and becomes a very playful pup once she warms up to you!
Harde is an 11-year-old senior cat who is very calm and loving. He arrived at the shelter after his beloved owner passed away. Harde has a beautiful, thick long coat of fur and will snuggle up to you after a few minutes of affection. He also gets along with other respectful cats.
Reese is an adorable, senior black and white rabbit who was transferred to the Humane Society of the Treasure Coast from another shelter who was out of space. Reese is very easy to handle and very well socialized. Being a senior rabbit, she does have some medical needs so she requires a patient owner who can provide proper care for her in her golden years.
Each month, the HSTC will chose one dog, one cat, and one critter to feature. Should you choose to adopt one of these animals during their featured month, you and your new furry friend will receive the following adoption benefits:
