Pets for Patriots 

Humane Society of the Treasure Coast offers dog and cat adoptions to veterans through its partnership with Pets for Patriots and will help them find their new best friends.

Pets for Patriots accepts fully approved applications from active, separated, and reserve military who live within the following parameters: no more than 40 driving miles from HSTC.

As part of this partnership, HSTC offers fully approved applicants from Pets for Patriots, a 50% discount in adoption fees and one free dog-training session. 

Adoption Fees Include:

  • Age-appropriate vaccinations
  • Basic veterinary exam
  • Behavior assessment
  • Carrier (cats)
  • FeLV test (cats)
  • Fecal test
  • Flea/tick preventative
  • Heartworm preventative
  • Heartworm test
  • Microchip for permanent identification
  • Pet food
  • Spay/neuter
  • $30 off of 6 weeks training classes at HSTC (dogs only)
