About HSTC Thrift Stores

Since their inception, HSTC’s Thrift Stores have been a vital source of funding and support for the shelter’s lifesaving and life-enriching programs. With new merchandise arriving daily and ongoing specials on already discounted items, there’s always a great reason to stop by and discover a bargain—or a hidden treasure!

Both stores offer something for everyone, from trendy designer clothing to mid-century furniture, linens, housewares, art, and jewelry.

Did you know our thrift stores also host cat adoptions? That special item you’re shopping for might just come with a new furry best friend! Over the past year, nearly 100 cats found their forever homes through our stores.

Interested in Donating to an HSTC Thrift Store?

We gratefully accept donations at the rear of each store. Almost everything you find in your home can help—provided it’s clean, stain-free, in excellent condition, and in good working order.

Our most in-demand items include:

• Clothing (plus handbags, shoes, and jewelry)
• Collectibles
• Books
• Home décor

Donation Pick-Ups 

For large items, such as furniture in excellent condition, HSTC Thrift Stores offer convenient pick-up services from the first floor of your home or from a climate-controlled storage facility.

To ensure timely scheduling, please book your pick-up 1 to 2 weeks in advance. Call our Central Thrift Store at (772) 286-6909 to arrange your donation pick-up today.
