Thank you for pre-registering for HSTC's Domestic Pet Disaster Shelter

Please remember that these registrations are kept on file for one calendar year, so make sure to pre-register your pets every year in case of an emergency or disaster.

To complete your registration, you must also submit copies of the following medical material for your pet:

  1. Veterinary records
  2. Proof of current vaccinations
  3. Identification
  4. Rabies tag

The required medical material may be submitted to HSTC via (1) email at admin@hstc1.org with the Subject: Disaster Preparedness Pre-Registration; (2) postal mail, addressed to Humane Society of the Treasure Coast, 4100 SW Leighton Farm Ave., Palm City, FL 34990; or (3) fax at (772) 287-0174.

Supplies to Bring with Your Pet

  • Crate or cage large enough for your pet to stand up in and turn around
  • Medicine/Prescriptions
  • Food and treats
  • Blanket or towel to sleep on
  • Special diet food
  • Leash and collar or harness
  • Small comfort toys
